She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics with entrance scholarship, and is a Firefighter and Medical First Responder. She is a registered Kinesiologist with practical experience in a health clinic, with specialization in rehabilitation therapy. Amanda has been in the fitness industry for fifteen years as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She is incredibly passionate about Athletic style training. Keyshawn is an up beat, charismatic trainer. Being an athlete his entire life Keyshawn was inspired to pursue a career in fitness through his Canfitpro certification. Keyshawn has worked as a freelance trainer and has experience coaching both tackle and flag football athletes; leading two provincial teams to national tournaments. Through his experience he has gained significant knowledge on muscle development and growth. As an athlete playing various levels of football, Keyshawn knows what it takes to reach training goals. This has allowed him to adopt his motto: There is no such thing as luck. Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. Keyshawn believes that forming relationships with clients is extremely important in order to give a personalized training experience.

Cathy has worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years as a personal trainer, pilates, and yoga instructor. Cathy is working towards her 500hr teacher training with Therapeutic Yoga Studio (Tays). She has completed Core, Opening, as well as Restorative Yoga/Yin Yoga Course and Pregnancy Yoga with Tays. Cathy is currently taking a 6 week online course called “The Art of Assisting” with Janet Stone Yoga. With years of experience in the fitness industry Cathy was a level 3 trainer working for GoodLife and used her yoga and pilates skills to ensure clients had safe and effective workouts and learned to be more body aware. Cathy enjoys working with clients of all ages and the assessment process allowing her to provide clients with homework opportunities to improve their fitness. Developing relationships with clients’ to build trust, empowerment, and personal growth is important to her when coaching, teaching, and being a leader in the fitness industry.
Derek MacDonald comes to us from Cape Breton with 8 years of personal training experience. His wealth of knowledge expands beyond the gym, having worked within the healthcare sector for over 10 years as a Physical Rehab Assistant. Derek’s love for fitness is more than a career, it’s a lifestyle. Having competed in 13 bodybuilding shows, Derek has placed 1st to 4th amongst the Classic and Bodybuilding divisions and has won the Middle Weight division 3 times.
